The South East Partnership Group is a networking opportunity
for Christian organisations working with children and young people in the South East of England
About Us
The South East Partnership Group is a networking group for organisations working with children and young people in the South East. If you are interested in your organisation joining the group, please get in contact with us at hello@separtnership.org.uk
The South East Partnership Group has developed the following values to guide the Group's involvement in projects of benefit to children and young people and their leaders:
1. Faith
Theme: A generation who are prepared to take risks and do not back off from all God has called them to
Verse: Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6
Filter: How does this project encourage young people to take steps of faith and persevere?
2. REVIVAL
Theme: A generation who are filled with the Holy Spirit and demonstrate God's power
Verse: You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8
Filter: How does this project help young people to encounter more of the Holy Spirit and experience more of his power?
3. SURRENDER
Theme: A generation surrendered to the purposes of God
Verse: Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.’ Matthew 16:24
Filter: How does this project encourage young people to die to themselves and put Jesus first?
4. CHURCH
5. FATHER
Theme: A generation exploring new ways of being the body of Christ
Verse: Let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25
Filter: How does this project release young people to explore new ways of expressing kingdom?
Theme: A generation that knows God as Father
Verse: See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! 1 John 3:1
Filter: How does this project help young people grow in their experience and knowledge of God as Father?
6. FAMILY
Theme: A generation that has been adopted into God's wider family
Verse: The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’ Romans 8:15
Filter: How does this project enable young people to be fathered and mothered by God's wider family?
7. PIONEERING
Theme: A generation that will not stop short of what God is calling them to
Verse: I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead, I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenwards in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12-14
Filter: How does this project encourage and empower young people to actively pursue their calling?
8. UNITY
Theme: A generation who are a catalyst for uniting the church across our villages, towns and cities
Verse: There are many parts, but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, ‘I don’t need you!’ And the head cannot say to the feet, ‘I don’t need you!’1 Corinthians 12:20-21
Filter: How does this project build kingdom and enable young people to be a catalyst for unity?
